not to look too closely at my face, seeing as I had just woke up and
there's no makeup on. (Ten years ago that would have never happened).
I had her bleach my roots and put in all-over highlights. She also
trimmed up the layers and framed around my face this time. I like it!
Oh, and I told her that I stopped using shampoo 8 weeks ago(at my last
appt, when she told me about another client who had quit shampoo) and
she couldn't believe what a transformation my hair had made and how
soft it is now!! And when she washed my hair after the color she asked
did I want her to use shampoo? I told her it didn't matter however she
wanted to do it.....she used the condioner twice and said she's gonna
have to try it as well!

Your hair looks great! I still can't believe you haven't been washing your hair, it seems so crazy to me. How long did it take your hair to not look greasy?

ReplyDeleteI took a page from your book and washed my hair with only conditioner yesterday - WOW! If I didn't wash it at all it would have been greasy-looking, but I scrubbed the conditioner into my scalp like you said, and my hair was SO SHINY, soft, and manageable! And not oily at all, it just felt "moisturized." E, my scalp gets itchy if I don't wash it every day too, but it wasn't yesterday. I don't know if I could do it every day, but I think at least every other day I'm going to use conditioner only! Thanks for the tip!!!
CLARIFICATION: I still wash my hair daily or every other day. Only now, I substitute conditioner for the shampoo I use to use. So I wet my hair, put on some sua.ve cond. rub my scalp really well, rinse, then put on 3.minute.miracle by au.ssi.e, leave on for 2-3 minutes and rinse.
ReplyDeleteMy hair would normally be oily the day after I wash using shampoo, but now I can go upto 2 days w/out washing(not that I like to) and it's still not greasy-looking. I think shampoo is the devil. Haha! ; )

ReplyDeleteLove the hair! I'm really tempted to try the conditioner. Believe it or not I actually condition my hair first then use a very mild shampoo. Makes my hair all pretty!
