I know this isn't we.bm.d, but I can't remember my password & I need major help deciphering my OPK confusion. I started testing on:
Monday, Day 11 - the result line was there, but light. - BD'd
Tuesday, Day 12 - result line was even lighter. - BD'd
Wednesday, Day 13 - no result line, I thought I missed my O time. - No BD'ing
Today, Day 14 - result line is back and very much there, the color was almost as dark as the test line. - J is asleep right now(he works tonight), so haven't BD yet, do we need to before he leaves for work?
So, WTH does all that mean? Am I going to O in the next 12-36 hrs? Did I already O? Do I still test tomorrow? Does the result line have to be darker than the test line before I will O? Do we need to start BD'ing every day or every other day? Aahhh, too many unanswered questions-----I am so confused!?!?!?! Please help even if your not for sure, I need all the help I can get. TIA!

!!Ephinany!!
I've had an EPHINANY this week. An Infertility ephinany. I like using the word, ephinany. Okay, I'll get on with the ephinany..................
..........When we first started ttc, people would always tell me, "you'll get pregnant, I know you will." And, I always thought that was a nice thing for them to say, the comments were so positive and matter fact that it helped me a little. But as time goes by, I am noticing that those same words really tick me off now!!! This week I have heard 2 new comments, "I hope you get pregnant" and "If its meant to be, it will happen." Once upon a time those would have pissed me off, but I see now that I would rather have them tell me those than tell me, "they know I'll get pregnant." How do "they" KNOW I will get pregnant? "They" don't know, I don't even know. They couldn't possibly know. AaaRrrrGgggg!!!!
Plus, I don't need "them" adding to my false hope with "their comments." I can create enough false hope myself, I definitely don't need any help there.
Thanks for listening/reading about my ephinany(sorry, I had to get the word in one last time ;).

J's Mamaw is so sweet!!!!!
Okay, 1st off let me tell you she is turning 90 yrs old next month. She still gets around and drives and everything. You would never guess she is as old is she is, because she does everything herself. The other day when I was leaving for work, she was writing out bills and mailing b-day cards for everyone in the family for that week. So crazy!?! And, J said when he got off work she was in her garden, digging with the hoe and planting flowers! She is Awesome!
She loves to quilt, and we we're looking at some quilts that she is making and she tells me that she is going to make me a 2 baby quilts(She makes one for every baby shower). I didn't really know what to say at first, since I'm not even pg and thats normally when she starts making them, (when she hears someone is pg.) So, I just listened as she went on to say 1 for a boy & 1 for a girl. Still not knowing where she is going with this, I said, well that's good, I've always wanted twins, a boy & a girl! Then, she says it, she wants to make & give these to me so if something happens to her I will have baby quilts from her. Awe, I teared up and started to cry but managed to hold myself together in front of her. I just thought that was so nice & sweet of her. I told J about it when he woke up, and he even looked like he could cry.
She is so sweet and I just wanted to share this story with you ladies. Now, I want to get pg even more so so she can be around to see mine & J's kiddo's. We love her so much!

update & forgive my opk ignorance..................
...........but I have these opk's from Katie and I can't remember what day to start testing. Also, is it better to test in the am or pm? It's gonna be tricky now that I'm working, but I will suck it up and test at work - fun for me :D !!!!!
- My new job is going good, I think. I actually did some work today, though I have no clue what I did or how I did it - lol! I think it will be good once I get the hang of it, but for now I am mentally exhausted. Its a wonder I even want to touch a computer after working 8 hrs on one. (But your not getting rid of me that easy)
- We closed on our house yesterday, finally. We are officially un-homeowners. I don't think that is a word, lol. I'm glad its all done with, now I want to get moved into our new place. Living with J's (that's dh) mamaw is good, but I want my own place.
- We leave for vacation in 19 days!!!!!!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only 12 more days of work and then I'm off for 2 weeks for my vaca! We're still not exactly sure where we are going, nothing's booked. But that's ok, sometime's its nice to not have everything planned out. I think we might go to Mia.mi or Ve.gas, or maybe both!!!!!! Who knows? I do know I'll have fun whereever we go b/c I'll be with J. (sappy moment over ;P)
I got to go wake up J now so he can leave for work. Yuk. I am so ready for him to be done with 3rd shift. 4 1/2 yrs is way too long. Sad thing is, he'll probly have another 10 yrs of it, UGH!!!!!! Okay, I seriously got to go now.
Ta-Ta for now.

Did you miss me?!?!?!
I'm finally back online! 5 days is too long for no internet. I bought one of those sm.ar.tca.rds today so I can talk to my girls again. It's funny how you can miss people you've never even met.
Okay, we are gonna go take a spin out on our boat real quick. I'll post all about our move and my new job when I get back.
Talk to you soon!!!!! :D

Glow
Someone finally told me the other day, that I have a glow about me. Do you know how long I have waited to hear that I am glowing? Uh, of course you do. We all dream about the day when some stranger says we are glowing and we get to say we're pg. Well, I would have already told you if I was pg. Unless, I am & I just don't know it yet. Maybe, that guy saw something different in me, or maybe he was having a blonde moment even though he had dark hair. Hmmm?
I'm leaning towards a blonde moment, though I wish so much that it was the other. You decide what you think it means. Here's what happened......
I went through the drive-thru at St.ar.bu.cks and I had the sunroof open. The guy at the window says, "where is all that light coming from?" then leaning down to give me my oh so delish, double chocolate frapp I ordered that tasted like drinkable brownie batter, sees the open sunroof and says, "ah, you have the sunroof open." He then goes on to say, " you have this glow about you."
That made my day, I was on cloud 9 the rest of the day! I day-dreamed about it being "the glow" and how happy I was that I was pg.
Do I really have the glow, or was it just the sun peering through the sunroof?
What do you think?

Oi Vay
You know what this means? I got to go shopping! All my dress clothes are already packed and in storage. I don't even have a weeks worth of clothes to wear for work. I left out only a couple nice things and packed the rest, b/c I didn't know I would be getting a job.
I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got the job!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, this is great!! I am now homeless (we have to be out this w/e), but I'll be a working homeless person. At least I'm not a total bum. Hehe!!
I am so overwhelmed right now. I can't believe I am 1 of the lucky few that will have IF coverage. I want to cry, happy tears of course ;) I also want to know exactly what kind of IF coverage the ins covers. This feeling must be pretty close to the feeling you get when you find out your pg. Not at all the same but kinda. KWIM?
So, I start new-hire on Monday and then start working Mon pm or Tues. Unless, I close on Tuesday, then I will start my job on Wed. WwwoooooooHhhhhooooooo!!!!!
This also means no more time during the day to chat on blogs & we.bm.d, BOO ;(
But I will totally make up for it on nights & weekends.
Luv Ya!

Could it be?
(APO on we.bm.d)
I just got an AWESOME job offer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, I don't really know if the job is great, but the ins. covers IF!!!!!!!!!!!!! Remember that job I applied for a few months ago? Well, the lady just called me and said that they are about to have another opening and was I still interested? You betcha!!!!!!!!! So, she is doing my background check and there's nothing on there that I know of that would make me not get it, so hopefully soon I will have a job. Not that I want a job, but if it means IF is covered then heck yeah, I'll take it. I don't know the specific's on what all they cover, but at this point I'll take anything. Something's better than nothing, right?!?!?!?
Woo~Hoo its my mom's b-day, but I feel like I'm getting the present. (the gift of IF coverage anyways, Haha)

new look for me
I had one of my sisters highlight my hair a few weeks ago. I like to go more blonde in the summer time. I think it helps make me look really dark, I like having a good tan! Then, I decided to get my hair cut, just a little though b/c I am trying to grow it out. It needed to be cut in a bad way, I had way too many dead ends.
But the most different look that I now have are my glasses. I've never worn glasses before and I had no clue what kind of frames to pick out. (Not to mention my eyes were totally dialated when I did pick out my frames.)
I guess what I'm trying to say with all this rambling is, How do I look? I know I will get the unbiast responses I've been lookin for from my fellow bloggers. I actually kinda like them & wear them more than I thought I would. Hmm, interesting :o)
Yes, I realize there's a bad glare from the computer on my glasses, but like I said, I've never worn them before and I didn't take that into consideration when I was taking pics.
**If I don't get any responses then I will know that I don't look as good as I thought I did**

Inferguilty - how you feel when you're having a bad day and you read someone's post announcing their pregnancy and you are overcome with the urge to kill them.
Reverse Pharmacology - taking Birth Control Pills in the month before your IVF.
Multiple Dwarf Syndrome - a state caused by the ups and downs of fertility treatments, characterized by describing oneself as some combination of grumpy, sleepy, dopey, bashful, etc; especially effective descriptor if you include what we like to call the "alternative dwarves," such as horny, bitchy, barfy, crampy, etc.
Snow White Complex - the mental state following your careful examination of white undies and panty liners for indications of mucus or menstrual flow; any hint of red on white or confusing mucus signs gives you the absolute right to take on any or all of the emotions in the Multiple Dwarf Syndrome
Preggozone - the magnetic area around all infertile women that draws expectant mothers into close viewing range; the first day of any cycle has the greatest magnetic field, closely followed by any day on which an infertile womans fails a pregnancy test.

Peetience - what you learn to aquire when starting to chart your basal body temperature.
Psycho-symptom-atic Syndrome - a psychosomatic condition afflicting women during the two-week waiting period; marked by a tendency to incorrectly attribute every bodily twinge and twitch to the early stages of pregnancy.

Hells Bells, Felony Melanie!!!
Argh! Yesterday was not a good day. I repeat, NOT a good day. Can we just get our house sold already? We hit another snag (i've got other words for it, but we'll call it a snag for now). Well, this snag, is the motherload of all snags. GRRR!!! We found out DH has a major blemish on his credit from his Stupid, bleepity, bleep, bleeper, ex-wife. And, we cannot close on our house til' it is taken care of. Just when I think the past is behind us, something comes and bites us on our butts. So, we are still moving, it just got pushed back a bit. I'm so mad at that b-otch - I can feel heat penetrating off my face!.!.!.!

Weekend full of stupid comments
I don't think they will ever end. Grrr!!
1st stupid comment came from my realtor. She says something to the effect of, "how I'm lucky to have the body I have b/c after I have kids its all over". To which I replied, "if it meant I had children, I would not care." She didn't take the hint and went on to say, "that kids are a lot of work and they run you ragged especially as they get older." I told her again, "I don't care if it means I have kids." I still don't think she got it, but she left so I didn't have to worry about her anymore.
2nd stupid comment came from my cousin, who I haven't seen in 4 years. I went to his brother's wedding shower at my mamaw's house, and I guess she's been talking about me. As I was leaving he grabs my hand, looks me in the eyes and says very sincerely, "he's praying for me." Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the prayer. Of all people, I'm sure I need it. It just bothered me b/c I haven't seen him in forever not since right after my brother's funeral. Where has he been the last 4 years? Why didn't he try to show his concern earlier? Ughh! It really frusterated me for some reason.
3rd stupid comment came from DH's co-worker's wife. They came over to take a pic of our island/bar in our kitchen. They want to bulid one at their house and liked the one we built. Anyways, the wife asked why the screws were poking out from under the bar part? (we forgot to cut them down) So she says, "the grandkids will run their heads right into it and get hurt." I said, "yeah, we do not have that problem." But clearly she didn't even think, b/c is not like she had a grandkid w/her and when they build hers she can use shorter screws. Duh!! Our bar is taller than most but in order to run your head into it the kid would have to be 8-10 yrs old. You would think by then they would know not to walk into things.
All weekend I kept telling myself:
Stupid people shouldn't breed.
Stupid people shouldn't breed.
Stupid people shouldn't breed.
Thanks for letting me vent, I feel much better. You ladies rock!!

Close call
On our house that is. The appraiser came the other day and appraised the house $2000 less than what we we're selling it for. The buyer's loan could not get approved for more than the appraised value. What does all this mean? It meant if we didn't come down two thousand the deal would fall through. So, DH said if they would buy the house and fix the plumbing problem themselves then we would come down the 2 grand. (DH really didn't want to do any plumbing repairs, not that I blame him) Luckily, they accepted and the sell is progressing.
Our realtor said the buyer still wants to close early and could we do that? All DH can think about is the $money$, so he says "sure we can be out in 2 days if we need to be." Umm, I don't think so! I have barely started packing. I think we will probly close in about a week, hopefully 2. Its just the 2 of us, but geez we got a lot of crap! I downed a vanilla Sta.rbu.cks double.shot, (energy + coffee, its so good), and I will be having a packing party to the wee hours of the night for all who want to pitch in. ;)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Poor DH had to go to the dentist today. I knew it was bad when he said he bought a tube of Or.al.gel at the gas station for $8. And, he actually wanted the appt. The very nice doc gave him some antibiotics and most importantly, pain meds. DH's my tough guy and if he's in pain it must be pretty bad. I feel bad for him. :(
The weird cramping that I posted about on web.md must be O. My left ovaries are hurting when I walk, so I guess I'm having a strong O this C w/all these unusual symptoms. Maybe something good will come of it. ;) I'm thinking positive! (That's what DH tells me to do.)
funny story
Ok, the other day I'm at my MIL's house and she was asking me when we are doing IVF again, blah, blah, blah!!! We talked and then at the end she was telling me about some new place she heard of that garuntees you get pg one the 1st try (which I find highly unlikely, b/c most times it takes at least 3 times to get KU) anyways, I sat there and humored her. She told me I need to go to, haveababy.com immediatly I said, "OMG, here I was thinking I had to have sex to get pregnant, if I would have known about this website I would have done that years ago." The words that came out of my mouth AMAZED even me. See I'm normally the kind of person that comes up with a smart & witty comeback the day after the conversation. It was so great! Oh the look on my SIL's face was priceless, I don't think she knew what to say. My MIL got it and laughed, and so did I, it was so funny!! :p
I know people mean well when they offer a website or something they heard about that helps you get pg, but its really not that easy.(of course all of you know this) I wish it was easy, but its not, and those comments don't help. What does help is to squash their advice with a smartass coment. It made me feel so much better!!!!
