It occured to me the other day that I never posted pictures of our new home once we were unpacked and settled in(Shame on me...what a bad blogger I am). I have been hosting a couple of dinners and then there was that party last weekend...so while my house was spotlessly clean I decided to take some pics of the place!

Of course there are two bathrooms and two other bedrooms, but for some reason it wouldn't let me load those...That's ok, these are some of my more favorite rooms anyways! YES, even the laundry room....our last house had the laundry room outside the house and it was not pleasant. Plus, when we moved here, I got a brand new washer and dryer...BONUS!! =)

I made this rockin' good layered southwest salad the other day. And
yes, I took a picture!! =} I'm always taking pictures of my food
creations! I need to find a job for that....Maybe a menu
photographer?!?! Everyone likes a menu with mouth-watering photo's,
right? Hmm.....

TMI Q

Does anyone else's hoo-ha get sore for what seems to be no other
reason than mother nature screwing you over, yet again?!? I guess it's
the v.ulv.a area and it sorta feels like the start of a yeast
infection....kinda of a itchy/chapped/painful/burning feeling, who
knows, maybe that's what it is? I dunno. I started taking Az.o YI
pills as soon as I noticed the pain/itch and they help a lot, so maybe
that is what it is. We Fd yesterday and it was mildly uncomfortable
during and moderatly uncomfortable afterwards....I had to lay down and
rest my va-jay-jay for awhile...Not fun. Am I the only one with this
er, problem??

....Trees....

So, we came across a sweet deal this weekend! Apparently, there was a
tree farm in OK that went out of business. Well this lady bought a ton
of the trees from the farm and is selling them for wicked cheap! We
bought 2 Red Maples and 2 Red Oaks each for only $45!!! And, they are
huge like 14ft!! They would probly be close to $300 had we bought them
anywhere else. YAY!! I'm so happy we are going to have trees, and
pretty ones to boot! Now I'm off to go dig some holes!

(I went outside to take a picture of them, but got sidetracked when I
saw a snake on my back porch. Long story short...I'll post a pic later
when the threat is gone.)

Busy Day

Wanted to stop in and say Hi...Sorry I can't stay, but I have a busy day ahead of me. As you all know I am hosting a SLAH Party tomorrow. Here is what I have to get done today.

~Finish making my bedroom curtains

~Pull weeds

~Drive 30 mins to my parent's house, pick-up a key from them, vist. Then go
to the post office & bank in their town and drive back.

~Vaccum & mop

~Mow our 1 acre lot...Who's idea was it to buy an acre?!?!?!

~Make blueberry and strawberry mini-muffins

WOW! That is a lot of work to do for one little ol' day. I guess the list could be worse, but each chore is not a rinky-dink task. Although, now that I have typed it out, it seems as though I am missing a major piece to my crazy puzzle. :p
I just hope I can remember what it is, before tomorrow morning!!

15 months old

Today is the two year anniversary of the 5day transfer of my lil'
embies. ;( I should have at least one if not twin 15 month old's
playing in my house right now. But instead, all I am left with is this
hole in my heart that will forever ache.

I am trying to stay distracted....two of my sister's spent the night
last night and today we are going to get our hair done and get some
lunch! But, pretty much I'm masking the pain with a fake smile. I
would much rather have horrible looking hair and enjoy life with my
children than vice versa.

I called my RE yesterday and left a message for his nurse to call
me....After getting the false positive last month I'm starting to
wonder if it was only a defective test or if I should even bother TTC
naturally & getting my hopes up every month. They never said we
couldn't get pg on our own. Maybe they were just trying to soften the
blow of IF. Anyways, when she calls I'm gonna ask about those concerns
and see what my RE says now after six years of TTC.

Life sucks with IF and all I want to do now is go crawl in a hole and
cry.

long overdue

We had the best time on vacation, it was definitely one of our better ones!!! I could totally live there! We arrived on Wednesday afternoon and left the following Monday(our 7th anniversary). I tried to talk hubby into one more night, but I couldn't quite work the magic. :( I was going to give you a day-by-day description, but I'm sure you're more interested in the pictures, so I'll just skim over the highlights of the week.

We went on a sunset/dolphin cruise(for free, but there's a catch isn't there always? We attended a timeshare doo-hickey & they gave us loads of freebies) We were both snapping pictures like crazy, but those dolphins are quick little suckers and neither one of us got any good pics of them. It might have had something to do with the boat rocking back and forth on those huge waves. I was having trouble standing, much less trying to take pictures and not lose my camera overboard. We did get some beautiful sunset pictures and DH was taking pictures of all the other boats!! It was fun none the less, and I highly recommend it if you ever get the chance! Free or not free, I'd do it again!

One of our other freebies was dinner at this seafood & oyster bar....I don't eat fish of any kind, but J said it was really good and my chicken/pasta was delish! Way better than I expected...Mmm, I could go for some of that right now, too bad I can't remember the name of the dish. ;)

The other awesome thing we did was jet ski on the(drum roll, please)...OCEAN!! So much fun!!! I did warn hubby that if he knocked me off I would be less than happy...In fact, I would've been scared to death! I mean, there are sharks down there and I was not trying to test the waters. Haha! We started off on the bay side and went out about 600 feet and the water was only a foot deep. Everyday, there would be close to 30 boats out on that part anchored out and having a party! I could totally live there!! In fact we drove around and looked at a few houses that were for sale. We found this one, but I think it's a teeny bit out of our budget! But if I could, I would buy it and invite all my blog friends for semi-annual visits...Be sure and check your mail, you wouldn't want to miss this invite!! ;) ;)

We ate, we shopped(though, not as much as we usually do. There was an outlet mall 1/2 a mile from where we stayed, coincidence? I don't think so!) we went to the beach a lot! I found this huge, unbroken shell. It's bigger than my hand, so cool! I took a ton of pictures of the ocean. J kept saying, "I think you have enough" but I can't help it, the waves are so pretty and serene. Have I mentioned, I could totally live there!?!?!

Does anyone know the difference between the SPCA the humane societies or a regular animal shelter? The puppies are 8 weeks old and I cannot find anymore homes. I cannot keep 6 puppies, but I do not want them to be uthenized(sp?) at all. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

And I haven't forgotten to tell you about our vaca. I will try to get that done and upload the pics this weekend!

All good things must come to an end....sadly.

We have left the beach and will slowly be making our way back. :(
We had a wonderful time and I'll give you all a full recap and loads
more pics when I get home to my computer. ;p But until then, I'll

Vacation Home

This is a vacation home of Faith H.ill & Tim McG.raw. Apparently, they
were here for two weeks last year! From the water(and the street) this
house is beyond gorgeous!! There is also a gigantic boat at the dock
that is equally beautiful.

It must be nice to have so much money.....I'm not greedy, I could be
happy with just a small percentage of their income! ;) ;)

Sunset Cruise

You can barely see the tail of the dolphin going back into the water
in the pic. With the delay on my phone I never could get a full shot.
They were up and out so quickly that it was hard to get a good shot.
The cruise at sunset was awesome though. If nothing else, I got a
bunch of good sunset pics so not too bad all in all.

Off the radar

I know I've been a bad blogger/commenter....I am sorry. That last bfn
fueled by a false positive through me for a loop. :( I am feeling much
better, thank you for all your virtual hugs and thoughtful comments.

The sky is bluer, the breeze is warmer and I have a rockin' good tan!!
So, it must me getting close to summer. My favorite time of year. =)
We leave for Florida this week and I am so stoked!! Not to mention, I
am inadvertantly boycotting MD. :) YaHooooo!!! There is no way I
could've handled that crap after my recent bfn.

I heard on the news that the recent oil spill off the coast of
Louisiana could make it to the Florida panhandle if they don't get it
contained soon. If that happens, they better be prepared to give me a
refund cause darn it I paid for clear waters and white sandy beaches!
And I'm not taking anything less!!!

I am gonna try to post a different picture everyday. That way you can
live vicariously through me and actually be on vacation instead of
stuck at work. :)

Found it, Found it!

This is the carseat/stroller I want when it is time. I LOVE it! Every once in awhile I walk down the stroller/carseat aisle and see if I like any. I never wanted one that screamed all boy or all girl. This one is great and could go either way!! Too cute!!!!

As it turns out I found this the day I thought I was PG. Only I hadn't tested yet, hence the stroll down the "dreaming of baby aisle." I dare not even walk near that dept otherwise. :( I can only hope this selection hasn't been discontinued by the time my mommy days roll around!
