Misconception, Spoiler Alert & life

The picture scanning is coming along good{sorry Sherry, haven't posted any horrible ones, yet}. I really enjoy doing this and trying to think of a way to make a living from it. I think it would be pretty easy setup and people could mail me their box(es) of photos and then I could still work from home. Need to finish this task first, but definitely looking into it. I have 1363 photos scanned and then 3 more albums to scan from. I thought that was all of them, but turns out dad has two more large boxes of pics at his house. I like it though, and actually glad that there are more photos to do. Weird huh?

Thursday night, J and I babysat for his sister. She has a one and a half year old boy(R) and a 4 1/2 year old daughter(M). we watched them at our house and usually I don't have any toys for them to play with, but earlier that week I had found three little stuffed animal puppies that my Mamaw had given me and so at least I had something. I took the kids in the guest bedroom and M said they were going to play pretend that was their 'playroom'.....I said, that was fine and I was going to go cook dinner, I started to walk out of the room and she said, "Wait, lets pretend this is our playroom and you are our mommy and J is our daddy." .......AWWWW, she was so sweet. I had this huge lump in my throat as I scurried off to go tell J how she made my day, er year!!!!

Has anyone seen this movie? I watched the last half of it this morning. No, I didn't waste money by renting the thing{thank goodness}....It wasn't all bad, but apperently the couple is dealing with IF - HERE COMES THE SPOILER ALERT - I hate to tell the ending, because it goes against everything I feel when it comes to movies{don't give away the ending}, but on the other hand it's two year old and I feel like I should warn my fellow IF'ers. Plus, if you haven't seen it yet, you're probably not running out to see it...So they've dealt with IF, talked about adoption, had an affair, seperated, back together and worked it out and adopted.....The ending shows them arriving back at NY with their adoptee and walking in to their apartment and talking to the baby and as the camera zooms out you see the dillusional misconception of they adopted, so naturally she's PG. U.G.H. Seriously?? Why do people continue to think that's how it works? Drives me insane!

I think I'm ready to get back into going to church{stopped going after our failed IVF/death of my brother, a little angry I guess you could say}. The problem being is J works Sunday mornings and I don't want to visit by myself. A few months ago, we had started visiting on Sunday/Wednesday nights but it didn't last long. Now that Mamaw has passed away, I feel even more like we need to get back into church...I remember her telling me not too long ago that she knew I was angry but that I need to start going again. I know we do, but I hate being the one to always bring it up. I don't want to push J to go{he says he wants to go but then when it comes down to it, it's like 'do we have to go'}. I just feel like if he really wanted to go, he would bring it up some himself. I don't know.

  1. I have movies like that. Baby Momma was the same way. Did you see that?

I understand the feelings you were having toward church. I have had a lot of friends struggle in the same way due to one thing or another. Is there a way you can feel connected to God without actually going to church?

I love your picture scanning business idea. I might even send you a box of MY pictures. I have so many!

  2. I hope you can make the scanning into a business. That would be neat!

It's hard to get my dh interested in going to church. He was brought up in it, but for some reason he won't go with me now. :(

How cute about what your niece said. What a sweetie!
