1.) Saw this on Kitty's blog and thought I'd give it a whirl! I don't even know if I can come up with ten different things to write about, much less every Tuesday, so maybe I'll shoot for once a month and see how it goes.
2.) Finally named our 2, outside, cats last night. Mouer & Stripes! Mouer got his name cause that's all he does. And Stripes is well, striped. Real original, I know, I feel like a six year old. Oh well, at least they're are practical names.
3.) I'm watching{for the 1st time ever} St.Elm.o'sF.ire....always heard it was a good movie, but really don't see what all the fuss is about. I mean, I'm blogging while watching so that right there should tell you I don't think it's the bestest. It is a good time waster though!
4.) We have been looking at trading my beloved 3/4 ton truck in on a can't believe I'm actually gonna say it, 4-door sedan. It hurts just saying it! I never pictured myself in a family car, especially with NO family. But diesel is not exactly cheap right now and neither is the monthly payment on my truck, so I guess practicality wins again!!
5.) Speaking of sedans{sigh}, these are the 4 different ones we are looking at...one, two, three & four. Not exactly these ones, but ones like these. Personally, I like option one the best, but yep, you guessed it, darn practical-ness says three 0r four is best. It's time I start purchasing with hind-sight in tact. And the VW's aren't bad looking...for a sedan. =)
6.) I've been wearing contacts for a week now and while I do love the fact that I can wear sunglasses AND still see, they are driving me insane! My eyes stay dry all day long and I am constantly squirting eye drops in them. Nothing works. Not even those expensive B.li.nk drops work. Guess I need to ask if there is something stronger, Rx strength maybe?
7.) Hubs has been working a little overtime at work this week. Another reason why I am blogging{and watching tv} instead of cooking dinner right now. I am starting to get hungry so I need to go whip up something! I sure do miss those paychecks he used to get with all the overtime on it. Like the money just wish he didn't have to work so much overtime to get it. Such is life, I guess.
8.) Last weekend was our unintended, sucky-movie, weekend. We red.boxed three movies and all of them were just ok. The.Next.3.days, Th.eSw.itch and T.heF.ighte.r. Out of all of them I liked the switch the best but only because of the storyline was something I could sorta relate to. MW was good in the fighter, but the movie itself was too slow for my liking. Hubs liked it and even said he'd watch it again. All in all, I'm really glad we only paid $1 for each one rather then seeing in the theater and paying theater price for tickets.
9.) Fudge. Peanut butter to be more exact. I have been craving{is it even possible to crave?} peanut butter fudge. Well I have been wanting/craving some for about a month now. So much so that I think I am going to break down and make some. Tomorrow maybe!
10.) I had an epiphany yesterday....We don't pick IF, IF picks us. Unfortunately. Recently, I remembered a garage sale I went to with my mom a few years ago. They had a brand new, double stroller there for $25 bucks! I wanted to buy it soo bad because I just new I was going to have a baby, two actually! J and I weren't even married at the time, but I didn't want to pass up such a great deal. Foolish, foolish me for thinking I would get PG right away, and with twins for that matter! Oh how I wish IF hadn't picked us!
Welcome to 10 on Tues! Good for you, getting all the way to 10 :)
ReplyDelete3. I haven't seen St. Elmo's Fire, good to know I'm not missing much!
6. I had a similar problem with my contacts, if it's possible you may want to look into a new brand of contacts. I switched and am MUCH more comfortable now! Even the super-hydro-breathable ones aren't always the bee's knees for everyone.
10. That is a great, and also depressing, thought. I wish IF hadn't chosen us either. But I guess... at least IF has good taste?? ;)
