So tomorrow I turn 19. I never would have thought at age 19 I would
have been married for almost a year and have a baby. It's crazy!.....
NO! What's crazy is girls like her that can get KU so easily that they
take the miracle that it is for granted. And if that wasn't enough
then they post stupid crap like that on fb so all the IF girls can
feel even more shitty about themeselves. Grrr! It's not gonna be nice,
but I want to reply so badly. Remind me again why I shouldn't.

ReplyDelete*sigh*... i was 19 once... married... and ku. but not in that order the other way around well one lead to the other. i didn't experience IF issues until 6 years later and a different husband. honestly i was oblivious to IF issues at that age. i dont' know your cousins situation but in my situation... i sure wasn't ready to get ku let alone married all in the same year.
ReplyDeletewhen we don't experience the issues that women have with IF we don't know what they are feeling, because we just don't know. but now that I'm a 2nd time mom... dealt with IF. i walk on egg shells now because I don't want to say anything to harm anyones feelings.
She is more than likely excited in a immature way. She hasn't gone through "life" yet as we know it. I wouldn't reply to her, maybe offer a congrats but leave it at that. (((HUGS)))

ReplyDeleteI agree with Allison and Kitty... Don't stoop, she is just oblivious or ignorant to the fact that it doesn't work that way for everyone. I was that way before too.. As much as it is hurtful and seemingly wrong for her to post that.

She doesn't realize that she actually seems like a niave little girl to the rest of us.
If you respond, you'll be seen as a bitter hag (though you're really not) & she'll just go crying to people who will boost her opinion that she's mature (though she's really not).
