Where do I begin? Let's see, a couple weeks back when I had strep I received an email from this work from home place I had applied at a few months ago. I applied two different times and each time I got as far as the voice assessment stage and then I would get disqualified. As it turns out, they were having some technical glitches and they wanted me to call again and re-record my answer. The email said, I had only 72 hours to respond if I was still interested. At this time I had hardly any voice, so I waited until the last day to call in hoping my voice would be better and called. I still sounded horrible, but did not care at this point. The following day I received an email saying I had passed and I could move on to the next step{background check}. I passed that, then enrolled in their AC.P 101 class{passed again}. I'm in the process of the last step and setting up my "home office" and then I should be in business. Basically, it is customer service from the convenience of your own home. Have you ever called some place and swear your call was routed to someone in India?!? Well, depending on who my clients are, ya might get me on the line one day. Who knows! My SIL{the one w/the 5 kids} has been doing this since January and is now making $400/wk. I think she works between 30-35 hours/wk. This is not really the job I wanted{hubby wants me to do it}, but I guess it is something, since I haven't had any luck finding a job elsewhere.
I am sorry I haven't been on the blogs much lately. I have been reading all of them, just didn't have time to comment on every one's while taking that class. Nor did I have time to post anything other than a couple of songs. Geesh! It's been a busy week for me and I am still trying to figure out how it came and went so fast. I thought today was Wednesday. =) *sigh*
I want to express how grateful I am for those of you who made donations for our next IVF C. When I shared the site with y'all in the beginning{or maybe you saw it on fb} it was merely for review. I never once thought you would be my contributors. After all, most of you are in the same boat as myself with no ins coverage and crappy IF. I am so grateful and blessed to have friends like you wonderful ladies. You all have touched my heart in ways I could never express. Thank you so very much for your generosity!!
I would love to work from home, at least I think I would. I hope it works out for you and you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteGo J!!! At least it's something and maybe it'll lead to something else for you. Too funny that your "lack of voice" passed. Maybe you were too understandable the first time. ;)
