As you know I am starting a fund to raise money for our next IVF C. I have come up with two different ways to do this, but now I am finding it hard t0 decide which one is best for the public eye. I prefer the layout on option 2. I also like the the "ChipIn" ticker on there.

ReplyDeleteI like the look of option one but I love the chip-in ticker. People want to see that their donations are adding up to something and if they see that some have already donated they may be more likely to donate.

I am with M. I like the look on 1 but I like the chip in ticker. Also, I think you should add how much IVF cycles are,...I think it will sort of bowl them over and they might be more willing to chip in some money?
ReplyDeleteI remember this girl was on the news once because she did a video and published it about how much debt she was in and she actually was able to pay off something like thirty thousand in credit card debt with donations from that video. Maybe you could do a video on your blog?? If they are able to see the emotional side of IF, they might also be more inclined to donate.
Also, just by asking for say someone's lunch money, or coffee money, or soda money for a day to help you out doesn't seem like a lot to them and they and that little bit for you adds up quick.

ReplyDeleteI agree with E. If people know exactly how much it is they will be inclined to give more. When I first told my family about what our options would be and the prices they were all shocked. Most people have no clue. I like Option 2. Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteI like 1 but agree put the ticker on there and like a video montage of pics that you've taken through your IF battle. I'd even include a few links of reference for people to read more about IF & IVF. I'd even include the youtube video of the infertility song, I think that video does a great job explaining everything. I hope this works out for you.
