stuff

I cannot wait for our vacation this year!!! We are going to HAWAII - yahooooooooo!!!! Despite the fact that my fam damily{see what I did there, hehe} is going, I still think it will be a good time. J on the other hand isn't quite sure what to think, but it's Hawaii, so how could he not have a good time, right?!? Actually, he's pretty stoked about the trip and he's already told my 10 & 8 year-old nephews he'd teach them how to surf{not that he knows how to surf, but that's not gonna stop him from teaching the kiddos}. I have been before but he's never been....we are staying in Honolulu, at Waikiki Beach. We have a timeshare condo so our lodging is free, now we just need to get our flights booked{need to pay off the credit cards first} and continue adding to our 'extra spending money' account and we will be doing good!

Does anyone know where I can buy a good photo scanner? Not necessarily the flatbed scanners, I need to be able to scan all my family's photos and save it on a memory card or usb drive or even an external hard drive. I don't want it to go through the computer and eat up all my memory. My dad has given me probably 60+ years worth of pictures that were in my Mamaw's house(old, new, color, b&w, polaroid, etc) and wants me to digitally save them so that each family member has access to them.....If there are any photograhers reading this that can maybe point me in the right direction{??}, I would greatly appreciate it!

We filed our taxes a couple weeks ago and guess what? We don't have to pay!! We thought for sure we would have to pay this year, but it's quite the opposite, actually. This is the best return we have ever had! Finally we catch a break....YAY!!
