So it's been awhile since I've had a regular kinda post. Thanks for the many comments about my puppy. I still miss her dearly, but I'm sure I always will. Ok, new subject before I go all emotional on you......
The kitten is doing good...he had flees really bad when I brought him home, but since he's so young, I can't use the flee powder/shampoo on him. I did however give him a bath with reg shampoo and he let me trim his claws too....He's not your average kitten. Hopefully he will continue to let me clip his nails so he can be an inside/outside cat and not ruin our leather couches. He's still nameless though. I told DH he was to name him since he always gave me a hard time about naming our pup Izzy. Thanks for the suggestions, I also like the name Oliver(I think Julie said that one) but DH can't decide. I told him since he wants a Harl.ey.Davi.dso.n so bad he should name him Harley and then he can finally own a Harley....Hahaha! Don't think that's quite what DH had in mind when he said he wanted a Harley. Of course, my nephew wants us to name him McCoy, after some UT football player that has now gone pro. Such a dilema!!
Work is going better. Though it's still too early to tell if I am going to fully enjoy it. Dh was talking to his brother the other day and i could tell his brother had asked if I was starting to like it yet?{his brother's wife does the same sorta work} anyways, Dh says, "yeah she likes it." I quickly had him change his statement to, "it's too soon to tell." Hahahaha!!! I do like it, but it's still so frusterating, cause it seems we were trained for all the "easy" calls that rarely happen. And then you get a caller like I did on my first day, that makes you want to scream at them for being so stupid.....This lady calls in and says her wallet was stolen and she is afraid the thief is going to log on and open an account posing as her. I wanted to ask her what kinda moron was she?!?! Cause if i was a thief the last thing I would do with that wallet is create an online acct, for a pharmacy no less. Maybe if it was an acct for a CC, but not a pharm.....Geez, what an idiot?!?!? Anyhoo, DH has already said, I have to at least make $2000{that's what we have vested} before I can quit. I replied with, Yay, a goal to aim for! But really, I think I'll stick around. Afterall, it is kinda nice to choose my own hours and really nice to work just a couple hours a day!!
Ok, I better go get some housework done....TaTa for now! =)
Dawn dishsoap works good on fleas for young animals. Thats what my vet said to use until they are old enough for the special shampoo. If the cat is really good with baths use a fine tooth comb while you washing him. It will comb all the fleas out.
ReplyDeleteI hope work keeps going well for you.
New jobs are always hard to adjust to but I'm glad you are liking it so far! Your little kitty is too cute! DH had to put his old dog of 14 years down last weekend... it was so hard for the whole family...she was such a good girl.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll be a little sad about Izzy for a while. It was such a shocker too, that certainly doesn't help. Glad you have the new kitty to keep your mind occupied though! He is so cute.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you SORTA like your job :) That's a good start! I've been at my job for 2.5 years and I still don't like it. Hope it keeps getting better for you!!
lol i like Harley!
ReplyDeleteI agree w/Harley! You could even get a HD collar for him. (petsmart sells them) LOL!
ReplyDeleteI was always taught that there's no such thing as a stupid question, but call centers sure do bring out a lot of inquisitive idiots, don't they? :)
