I woke up one morning last month with this thought. Now, I'm not sure how it came to mind cause I did not have any dreams that night(not that I could remember anyways), but this was my thought.
You know how we are always thinking up great ways to tell people we are pregnant if/when that does happen. Well, imagine Christmas day rolls around, all the family is there opening presents when you give your mom & dad/in-laws their gift from you & DH. They tear open the paper to find a homemade calendar.....the kind that you add your own pictures to each month. So, they flip through and see these random pics of you & hubby, your house, dog, whatever. THEN, the month the baby is due that is where you place the sono pic!!!!!! And, they(parents) look really confused and then everyone is ALL HAPPY for you & hubs!!! And what better present is there, than the gift of a grandchild?!?!
So, that's my idea and WHEN I get pregnant that's how I want to tell the family. Obviously, I realize it would depend on what month I got pregnant,but if it works out that is how I want to do it. Plus, it will be cool to tell everyone at the same time and nobody's mad cause you told someone else first. Blah, blah, blah.....but I know it happens.
NOW, everyone please remind me in a couple of days of my optimistic, hopefulness when AF shows up and I am in a pissy mood!!
That's a great idea! I keep thinking about ways to tell the family *some day* lately, too. Probably because of the holidays. I hope we both get to announce very soon!!
