First my opinion....
I am reading a lot of blogs where the ones that have become pg and or had kids feel like they shouldn't post or comment anymore for fear us
other IFers will be upset by it. It may just be me, but honestly I would be more hurt if you did stop commenting than if you were to say something that you feel might offend me. Besides, about half of the blogs I currently follow are girls that are either pg or just had a baby. What I'm trying to say is, I've been there with you through the hard times so why can' I be there now that times are good?
Now, for the poll......
Do you want PG bloggers to comment on your blog?
If situations were reversed(those of you that are PG weren't & those of you who aren't, were) how would you feel?
Yes! Of course I still want PG bloggers to comment on my posts. It shows me that there is still hope for me and it helps renew my faith.
ReplyDeleteIf/when I am PG I want to continue commenting on all blogs!
I definitely want those that are pregnant or have kids to post on my blog. I have become friends with all these ladies and would hate to lose that just because I'm not in the same situation in life that they are.
ReplyDeleteI admit, at times it was a little painful for me to go to pregnant blogs, but I made myself anyway. I made myself be happy for them and actually I really would get excited when I would read how happy they were.
ReplyDeleteWe are all here for a common purpose and goal, even if it is hard at times.
Your post makes me feel a lot better...Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI know that when I was still still trying I was reading other's PG blogs. Yeah it hurt but it also made me feel like there was hope! :)
Thank you. Because I wonder when I'm posting on my blog if I post certian stuff how will that make others feel.
ReplyDeleteThis is good to hear J! I always wonder if I'm offending someone with my posts.
ReplyDeleteI'm on both sides. I have children but also TTC another to no avail. I love hearing the success stories because they give me hope and honestly, if I know I am having a bad day and don't want to read about preggers, I just skip a day and then come back to the comments the next.... I love to hear from all!!!
ReplyDeleteI always wondered if it offended anyone when I comment on an IF blog or if my posts offend anyone. Thanks for clearing it up!
ReplyDeleteI felt the same as others...I didn't know what to do. So I kept commenting, just not as much.
ReplyDeleteOff topic...Do you do monogramming?
Katie- I don't personally do it, though I would love to learn. But I do have a place I use for that.
ReplyDeleteYes yes yes! All are welcome and encouraged to post comments! And I've still been following all the new moms and still-PG moms too :)
ReplyDeleteI will also want to continue commenting if/when I'm PG.
I welcome anyone :) ...PGers, IFers. But to be honest I do struggle.
ReplyDeleteLike Dot, I too struggle. I have certain days where it's harder to read others' blogs, but I have no problem on their commenting on mine. I welcome it.
ReplyDeleteYes, I would!!!
ReplyDeleteBefore I got pregnant I posted on pregnancy blogs and even though I had bad days, it didn't hurt my feelings to read about IF graduate's pregnancies because they knew how I felt. They'd been there too. I hope it's the same for those still TTC who read my blog but understand if it's not.
Yes, I still want comments from everyone!
ReplyDeleteI am happy for those who are pregnant and those who now have babies! It is hard some days but I hope and pray that I will be on that side of the fence soon!!!!
