Oklahoma? maybe....

We might be moving north. Now, I am not about to lie to you and say, "I have always dreamed about moving to Oklahoma." Because, I never ever thought I would consider residing there, but hubs' workplace has decided to open up a position there and hubs says he wants to apply. And, being the supporting wifey that I am, I told him if it's something that he is interested in then we will make it work! Plus, this gives me the chance at a "change of pace" lifestyle. I never went away to college. Heck, I barely went to college at all! And, I lived at home with m&d until I got married. So, it would finally be my moving away from home feeling. The good thing is, it would still only be about three hours away from here, so if/when I was homesick, it would just be a short drive. J says, it will be a couple months before it will actually start{if he even gets the position}, but I really don't know if we could even sell our house that quickly. Worse case scenario would be, he finds an apartment to rent and comes home on the weekends until our house sells. Not ideal, but doable I guess. I decided to call mom and forewarn her that there could be a move in our near future. I was sorta worried, since I have always lived within 30 mins from her.....but once she figured out that it was relatively close by, she was A-ok, she even said J was still her fave son-in-law. HINT - he's her only SIL Ha! She's so funny, gotta love her!!
