I could use some prayers please
Please pray for my Mamaw! She was admitted into the hospital last night and they are keeping her for a few days and then placing her in a nursing home on Christmas eve. Her dementia is worsening and she cannot walk or even stand on her own. All she is talking about is how she wants to go see my Papaw(in heaven) and that it's time for her to see Jesus.....tears..... I don't want to lose her and especially not at Christmas.

Oh J, I've never had to experience moving a grandparent to a nursing home (my grandparents are all gone) but with my work, I see just how hard these decisions are to make for families. (((HUGS))) as you go through this transition and prayers for your mawmaw as she adjusts.

ReplyDeleteAwww J! I'm so sorry that you are having to go through this. I know how hard it is to see a grandparent go through dementia. My grandma slowing declined for years until she passed this last January. It was really hard on our family and I'm sure you are experiencing the same thing. My prayers are with you.
