CT Results

Nurse T calls today{after I called for results, typical}. She says the CT shows "density around my urethra"{whatever that is}. Dr M apparently doesn't know what it is either and wants me to see an urologist. It just so happens, that I have a urologist{from when I had frequent & severe UTI's} so I called him and scheduled an appointment for September 20th. By the time that appt rolls around I will have been having abdominal pain for 8 weeks.....Geez, I sure do love dr's, NOT!

  1. Good LORD, another 2+ weeks to wait? Can you call every few days and ask about cancelations? (((Hugs))) I'm so sorry you're still dealing with this. Hang in there.

  2. (hugs) The urethra is what connects the bladder to the outside part of your body. Have you been having odd spasms down there or anything?

I hope it's an easy fix!

  3. Ugh, that is so dumb that they made you wait this long just to tell you that you have to see someone else. I hope that the pain doesn't get any worse.

  4. I know what my urethra is. The part I don't get is the density around it. But, no to your question. I'm not experiencing any spasms or any uti or kidney infection type symptoms. But this time I'm not letting the urologist do that scope test{if I have to have one again} unless he knocks me out first!!

  8. Ugg!! 2 weeks? That sucks. I wonder if it is scar tissue from your infections? Sorry J.
